If you cannot attend a lesson or do not wish to continue learning with a particular teacher, you can cancel your lesson(s).
When you cancel, you will either receive a 100% refund in the form of Verbling credits, or a 50% refund in the form of Verbling credits. The amount of the refund depends on the state of the lesson (scheduled vs unscheduled), as well as the time between your cancelation and the lesson's start time (if the lesson's state is scheduled).
To determine the amount of your refund, please choose from the following:
|Lesson state||Time until lesson is scheduled to begin||Percent refunded|
|Unscheduled||Not applicable, as lesson is unscheduled||100%|
|Scheduled||More than 12 hours from when I want to cancel lesson||100%|
|Scheduled||Less than 12 hours from when I want to cancel lesson||50%|
NOTE: If it is more than 12 hours before your lesson start time, and the lesson time is no longer convenient but you wish to take this lesson with this teacher at another time, you should reschedule or unschedule your lesson. To cancel your lesson, please do the following:
1) Go to your Dashboard.
2) Click on the lesson you wish to cancel.
3) Under “Actions,” click “Cancel”.
4) In the pop-up screen, click “Cancel Lesson”.
Once again, the lesson's state (scheduled vs unscheduled), as well as the time between your cancelation and the lesson's start time (if the lesson's state is scheduled) will determine the refund amount (100% or 50%). That refund will be automatically returned to your account in the form of Verbling credits.
